Nowocert
Description :
Nowocert is an Irish technology SME developing advanced software and digital solutions for sustainable energy and integrated systems. Its expertise includes AI-driven optimisation, energy-system planning and operation, electricity markets, flexibility, energy storage, digital twins and techno-economic analysis.
Role :
Nowocert is the leader of the work package on replicability, digital twins and LDES portfolios for global impact. It leads the development and integration of PowerMAX’s digital twin framework, combining operational data, control models and optimisation tools to emulate and support real-time LDES operation and dispatch. Nowocert also coordinates the release of open-source tools for investment planning, multi-market simulation, risk-aware bidding and resilience assessment, supported by user-friendly interfaces, documentation and a cloud-based platform, while developing optimisation tools for hydrogen storage and supporting battery-swarm modelling.
