KYOTO GROUP AS

Description :

Kyoto Group mission is to decarbonize process heat at scale for industry. The future of industrial heat is fossil-free and it’s arriving faster than ever.
At Kyoto Group, we accelerate this shift by replacing fossil-fired boilers with Heatcube, our flexible thermal battery that delivers clean, on-demand heat to meet industrial needs.
As a trusted partner to energy-intensive sectors, we provide cost-effective, decarbonized process heat that helps industry scale sustainably and transition away from fossil fuels.

Role :

Kyoto Group will work closely with the other partners, and more specifically with KTH, to provide relevant information as one of the leading thermal energy storage (TES) technology providers. Kyoto Group has operational TES facilities serving different industries, enhancing the utilization of renewable energy and thereby reducing CO₂ emissions.
Kyoto Group could provide normalized performance data from these TES facilities, which would be highly valuable as real-time operational data for validating models and further advancing the research, development, and validation of long-duration energy storage (LDES) technologies.
